Location: Mountain Park is bordered by the Eastern (241) Toll Road, the Riverside (91) Freeway and preserved open spaces including Coal Canyon Ecological Reserve in the Cleveland National Forest, and Weir and Fremont canyons on the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve®.

Planning Area: 3,001 acres.

Architecture: Warm, understated colors and designs will complement the land's natural features. Spanish-influenced architecture will incorporate a mixture of styles, presenting design elements such as plaster/adobe walls, barrel-tile roofs, arbors and sandstone landscape walls.

School: The community will be served by a new school in West Village, a residential enclave that will be located northeast of the Eastern (241) Toll Road. For more information on school planning, please visit Education.

Recreation: From trails, to soccer, baseball and other activities at a 15-acre lighted sports park, to a large private recreation center, the new community will offer residents an array of recreational opportunities.

At Nature's Doorstep: The community will be inseparably linked to its abundant natural surroundings. A major public trail system through the center of the community will connect with internal trails and footpaths, and ultimately link with other trails leading to regional parks and tens of thousands of acres of preserved wildlands bordering Mountain Park.
